WPN High Five Series Underway

WPN High Five SeriesYesterday marked the start of the Winning Poker Network’s High Five Tournament Series that will run through Sunday, April 12.

Five consecutive days, each featuring five tournaments of varying game types and stakes are on the WPN High Five schedule. The prize pool for the 25 events is a collective $1,420,000 – guaranteed.

The bulk of that prize money is reserved for the headline event as at least $1 million will be paid out on April 12 in the Million Dollar Sundays – WPN’s second guaranteed tournament of 2015 to reach a million dollars. The first was February’s Winning Millions, which provided a nice overlay for value-conscious players at the U.S.-friendly network.

Satellites to Million Dollar Sundays are being played now on WPN skins. For players unfamiliar with WPN, poker rooms in the network include Ya Poker, Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker. Each offers a Welcome Bonus of 100% up to $1,000 for first-timers – a bonus that should not be missed.

The buy-in for the $1 million guaranteed event on Sunday is $540. Taking a shot at winning your seat through a satellite seems like a no-brainer. And even if your attempt to do so may fall short, you can use your bonus money from that first deposit to enter this exciting tournament that will pay $200,000 to the winner!

Current WPN players are not left out of the deposit bonus offer. A special Reload Bonus of 100% up to $500 is available through April 12. With such generous bonuses there for the taking for new and loyal players alike, it is very likely that a lot of players will be using that bonus money to enter Million Dollar Sundays.

WPN is attracting a lot of attention from U.S. players with its promotions and guaranteed tournaments. That $1,000,000 prize pool is not available to Americans at any other poker site or network – and hasn’t been since before Black Friday – except at WPN.

The network recently took over the no. 2 spot in player traffic among U.S.-facing poker rooms and is riding a wave of popularity that is not likely to die down anytime soon. WPN CEO Phil Nagy stated that the growth in player traffic “means bigger guarantees” as well as “more excitement” for players, many of whom have made sites like Black Chip and Americas Cardroom their new online poker home.

While the High Five Tournament Series is showcasing the $1 million guaranteed event, players on a tighter budget will be pleased to know that many events are catered toward bankrolls that are much smaller. Eleven tourneys of the 25 feature buy-ins of $11 or lower.

The action continues today through Sunday for the High Five. It’s not too late to get in the game!
