Three More Winners Bag WSOP Packages at WPN

WSOP promos at Winning Poker Network (WPN)The Winning Poker Network´s WSOP promotions have really grabbed players´ attention. After last week´s kick-off event smashed its guarantee by $10,700, last night´s WSOP Mega-Satellite attracted so many entries the Network was able to pay out an extra WSOP Main Event prize plus a further $4,500 in cash.

Regardless of whether or not the WSOP Main Event is on your radar for this summer, you really should take a look at the Winning Poker Network´s WSOP promotions – particularly its Sunday evening 5:15pm (ET) WSOP Mega-Satellites. The two Mega-Satellites that have been played to date have attracted 259 entries and paid out five $12,500 packages – plus a further $15,200 in cash.

For players concerned they will be forced into playing the WSOP Main Event when they don’t want to, the Winning Poker Network awards the WSOP packages as cash. Players can use the money to enter the $10,000 buy-in Main Event and have $2,500 towards their travelling expenses, or keep the money to do with what they wish. Unlike most WSOP-themed promotions hosted by other online poker sites, there is no requirement to play in the target tournament.

Where to Play WPN´s WSOP Mega-Satellites

The Winning Poker Network´s WSOP Mega-Satellites can be played at Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, True Poker and Ya Poker (does not accept players from the US). If you do not have an account with any of these poker sites, you can qualify for a first deposit bonus of up to $1,000 at each, plus take advantage of an excellent player rewards program and the multiple promotions offered by each site. Full details of the bonuses and how to clear them can be found on the following review pages:

A Mega-Satellite for Winners

What makes the Mega-Satellites so popular is the top-heavy payout structure. Only the top two players in each event are guaranteed to win anything (subject to the number of entries) – making for an interesting final table if you are lucky enough to get there. There are no min-cashes or opportunities to ladder up as players get eliminated. You either have to “go brave or go home” (or try again next week).

In last night´s Mega-Satellite, the player finishing fourth – “Alfa Mike Foxtrot” – was fortunate that the prize pool could accommodate a fourth place payout ($4,500). There was no such joy for fifth-placed “Barry Badmth” or for last week´s fourth-placed player – former WSOP November Niner Josh Beckley – who left the tournament empty-handed for the second week running after busting out last night in twelfth position. After last night´s Mega-Satellite, the five players who have bagged WSOP Packages are:

WPN´s WSOP Mega-Satellite Winners
Sunday 22nd April Sunday 29th April
Slammed_I_Am $12,500 Sharkdone $12,500
El Africa $12,500 Favors15 $12,500
KGB0569 $10,700 TheBeatless $12,500
JoshuaBeckley $0 Alfa Mike Foxtrot $4,500

Watch Out for Bigger Mega-Satellites Coming in June

The current “2 Packages Guaranteed” Mega-Satellites run each Sunday up until June 10th. They have a direct buy-in of $320.00, or you can choose to win your seat via a comprehensive satellite schedule. On June 17th, the Network is going crazy and guaranteeing thirty $12,500 prizes in a Mega-Mega Satellite with a buy-in of $540.00; and the following week a further four WSOP Packages (or the cash equivalent) are guaranteed in a special High Rollers Mega-Satellite with a $1,050 buy-in.

The Network´s aim is to give a minimum of fifty players the money to attend the WSOP Main Event – if they want to go. Due to the popularity of the Mega-Satellites, that figure is likely to exceed sixty players even before you include the Network´s other WSOP-themed promotions – the World Series of Jackpots and the WSOP Steps Tournaments (these promotions are covered [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/winning-poker-network-announces-multiple-wsop-promotions/”]in this article[/geolink]. Although the World Series of Jackpots is also proving popular with players, the Steps Tournaments are yet to catch on).

Good luck at the tables and maybe see you in Vegas (if you haven´t decided to keep the money instead).
