Partypoker US Network to Host Online Mini-Series with Super Low Buy-ins
When it comes to online poker gaming, most players want to pay as little as possible to compete. Be it cash games or tournaments, most players tend to lean towards the low end when it comes to buying in to cash tables or tournaments. At partypoker, low rollers will be excited to hear that the online poker room is now offering a special Online Mini-Series via their US Network. Players can take part in a ton of poker gaming over the next few days with buy-ins as low as $0.25!
Details of the Series
The partypoker US Network consists of BetMGM Poker, partypoker US and Borgata Poker. The network will offer the Mini-Series at these three sites with events starting at just $0.25. The largest buy-in will be $20, making this an easy to access series. Micro and lower stakes players will find plenty of action, with events running through May 24th.
Yesterday, the series kicked off with Event #1, a No Limit Hold’em event with a $50 prize pool guarantee. The buy-in to this event was just $0.25. Next up was Event #2, another NLH tournament this time with a $5 buy-in and $1,000 up for grabs. Double that buy-in for Event #3 and players could compete for $1,500 in total prize money.
The series consists of various events each day, including Super Bounty, Turbos and more. One of the larger events takes place today, with a $20 buy-in and $10,000 in prize money up for grabs. This is Phased Main Day Event.
Players can log in to any of the three sites during the special Online Mini-Series to take part in any of the low buy-in events. For the most part, buy-ins range from $5 to $10. However, there are lower and higher buy-in options to suit every player.
The largest prize pool on offer is $10,000. However, with so many players logging online to compete in poker events, it would not be surprising to find most if not all of the Online Mini-Series prize pools have increased due to a larger number of players participating.
Continued Online Poker Content
The new mini option comes just after the partypoker US Network completed the Online Series. The larger series just finished on Sunday and offered a total of 21 events. Just over 5,300 players competed and over $350,000 in prize money as awarded.
The series was a great success but had much larger buy-ins than this mini version. Take the Main Event for example. It had a buy-in of $400 and offered up $100,000 in guaranteed prize money. During the Online Series, it was online player TheKing411 who earned the first place win, securing $21,233 for outlasting the 270 player field.
It will be interesting to see how this Mini-Series plays out. With much lower buy-ins we should see a high turnout and perhaps larger prize pools and players take part.
