Partypoker releases $500K Ticket Drop offering WPT World Online Championship Seats

The World Poker Tour World Online Championships is set to begin on July 18, offering players a ton of online poker action with $100 million in guaranteed prize money. To help players earn a seat to the events, online poker room partypoker has just launched the $500K Ticket Drop. They will offer opportunity for players to win WPT tickets from now until the special World Online Championships begin.

What is the Ticket Drop?

So, partypoker wants to give players every opportunity to take part in the WPT World Online Championships. From now until it starts, each day the online poker site will select certain tournaments at random to receive a WPT ticket as an additional prize.

The online poker room is not limiting the free tickets to high roller type events. They are offering them with any and everything. Just two days ago, the site gave a ticket to the winner of a $11 Mini Deepstack event. This lucky player was given a $1,050 WPT Online World Championships ticket.

A player in a $55 Daily Deepstack PLO won a $320 seat while a chip leader in a partypoker MILLION Day 1 earned a $3,200 WPT Online World Championships ticket. The tickets are truly given away at random, so don’t think that just because you are playing in a lower buy-in event that you can’t win!

More About the WPT Online World Championships

The new Online World Championships is set to be a major event, with players from around the world competing. With $100 million in total guaranteed prize money, there is no doubt that players will show up to compete. It will not be surprising to see that the guaranteed prize pools increase due to the number of players competing.

The series is also quite long, beginning on July 18 and running through September 8. Many events will take place including 12 championship events. These events will have Mini and Micro versions, making them quite affordable.

The Main Event is of course, something that players will be looking forward to. The event will offer up $10 million in prize money and the winner will be inducted into the Champions Club. Not only that, the winner also receives a WPT Tournament of Champions entry valued at $15,000.

There will also be two smaller Main Events on the schedule, the $1,050 version and the $109 option. These will offer $5 million and $1 million in prize money. For the larger $10,300 event, players will be able to compete in a ton of satellites to hopefully earn a seat at a much lower price point.

Players still have plenty of time to take part in the Ticket Drop as well as compete in satellites to earn tickets to the main event. The series does not kick off for a few more weeks, so give it a try! Who knows, maybe you will earn a spot in the series at a much lower price point and even finish in the money!
