On Demands will be In Demand at the Winning Poker Network

On-Demands in DemandThe Winning Poker Network is beefing up its Sit & Crush weekly leaderboard competition by adding $160,000 to the cash prize pool over the next four weeks. The Network is also encouraging players to play in On Demand Sit & Go games by doubling the Sit & Crush points for players who preregister.

If you are a fan of multi-table Sit & Go games, there is an extra incentive to play at sites on the Winning Poker Network in May. The Network hosts a weekly “Sit & Crush” leaderboard competition that currently pays in excess of $8,000 in cash and $2,000 in tournament tickets each week. However, during May, the Network is adding $40,000 each week in $500 and $1,000 cash prizes for the top sixty players – plus you could also be in with a chance of winning an $8,000 package to the Live Cage event in Costa Rica at the end of July.

How the Sit & Crush Leaderboard Competition Works

Sit & Crush leaderboard points are awarded for each $1.00 invested in Sit & Go or Jackpot Poker games depending on the type of game and the amount of the buy-in – i.e. you get 1.25 leaderboard points for entering a regular $10 buy-in 9-Max Sit & Go game and 0.90 leaderboard points for entering a $10 buy-in hyper-turbo 6-Max Sit & Go game. No points are awarded for entering heads-up games.

Double leaderboard points are awarded for entering “On Demand” Sit & Go games – i.e. 2.50 leaderboard points for each $10 game entered – and, for the duration of the “On Demands In Demand” promotion, quadruple leaderboard points will be awarded to players entering an “On Demand” Sit & Go game prior to the start of late registration.

Typically, you would only usually need around 160 points to qualify for one of the top 60 places in the Sit & Crush leaderboard competition. Over the next four weeks, the minimum number of points to qualify for a prize is expected to be around 200. However, if you were to play in $20 buy-in On Demand games – and enter each one before it started – you might only have to play twenty games (total buy-ins $400) to qualify for a $500 cash prize – on top of what you might win in each game anyway!

More about “On Demand” Sit & Go Games

“On Demand” Sit & Go games start like regular Sit & Go games once the prerequisite number of players have registered (for the duration of this promotion, the prerequisite number of players is twenty). Once each game has started, players are allowed to late register for up to three levels – typically doubling the number pf players, the number of places paid, and the prize pool. There are no re-entries or re-buys allowed; and, once late registration is closed, each game proceeds like a multi-table Sit & Go game.

Players familiar with the format may be surprised to find the structure of On Demand games has changed for the “On Demands In Demand” promotion. As well as the requirement that twenty players register before each game gets underway, the starting stacks have been increased to 30,000 chips, blinds now start at 250/500 with a 50 chip ante (with the exception of PLO Hi/Lo games – no ante), and level lengths have been standardized to five minutes irrespective of the buy-ins.

There have also be a few changes made to the buy-ins. NLHE On Demand games are now available with buy-ins of $5, $10, $20, $30, $50 and $100. PLO Hi/Lo On Demand games are now available with buy-ins of $7 and $15. The games can be found in both the “Tourney” and the “Sit & Go” lobbies at [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/americas-cardroom/”]Americas Cardroom[/geolink], [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/black-chip-poker/”]Black Chip Poker[/geolink], [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/ya-poker/”]Ya Poker[/geolink] and [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/true-poker/”]True Poker[/geolink]; and – don´t forget – in addition to qualifying for a $500 cash prize, you could win an $8,000 package to the Live Cage event in Costa Rica at the end of July.

What Live Cage Event in Costa Rica at the End of July?

[geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/wpn-hosting-qualifiers-live-cage-events-costa-rica/”]Since the start of the year[/geolink], sites on the Winning Poker Network have been hosting Sunday qualifiers for Live Cage events with $5,000 buy-ins played every two months at the Taormina Hotel and Casino in San Jose, Costa Rica. The Sunday qualifiers have a buy-in of $55.00, but players awarded a tournament entry ticket in the Sit & Crush leaderboard competition can play in the qualifier for free – each qualifier awarding a minimum of three packages to the next event consisting of:

  • The $5,000 Live Cage buy-in.
  • Accommodation for two at the Taormina Hotel.
  • $800 towards traveling expenses.
  • Airport transportation plus a tour of the city.

If you win one of the packages, you do not necessarily have to play in the Live Cage event over the weekend of 28th/29th July. If you were to win a package in the next couple of weeks, you could play in the event scheduled for 26th/27th May, or delay your trip until later in the year. Further Live Cage events are schedule for 29th/30th September and 1st/2nd December. First, however, you have to qualify for the qualifier, and the best way of doing that is by playing in On Demand Sit & Go games at sites on the Winning Poker Network.
