Golden Spade Poker Open Returns at Ignition and Bovada Poker
The popular online poker tournament series is back for a 5th year. The 2017 GSPO will feature $3 million in guaranteed prizes!
The “triumvirate” of poker sites that make up the PaiWangLuo Network – [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/bovada-poker/”]Bovada[/geolink], Bodog and [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/ignition-poker/”]Ignition[/geolink] – will have quite the packed tournament schedule for the next 3 weeks, as the popular Golden Spade Poker Open MTT series will start play on October 14th, 2017.
The GSPO represents the final major tournament series that Bovada, Bodog and Ignition will run this year. Like the popular [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/wpn-guarantee-next-oss-cubed-series-14-million/”]OSS Cub3d events[/geolink] that are run annually by the Winning Poker Network, this particular series of poker tourneys are designed to maximize ROI for players of all skill sets.
Buy-ins at the GSPO will be as little as $16.50 and guarantee at least $8,888 in prizes, while the $450 Main Event of the series will guarantee at least $300,000 in prize money alone. Some of the other bigger tournaments will have guarantees ranging from $20,000 to $100,000!
GSPO Satellites at Bovada, Bodog and Ignition Poker
Despite sites like Ignition and Bovada (Bodog, too) offering a variety of affordable buy-in entry points (such as the $16.50 and $22 buy-in options), many of us can agree that if we can get our entry for a fraction of that amount then that is most always the most attractive option.
That is the definitely the case when it comes to the satellites that are running around the clock for the GSPO. Simply fire up the software for any of the three major sites participating in this series, open up the Tournaments tab and you will find a variety of satty’s to many of the biggest events the Open has to offer.
The satellites will be as little as $1 to $5 for the more frugal grinder, with higher buy-in satellites also being available for the larger events and High Roller’s that the GSPO will run in a few weeks. In either case, you can earn your entry on the cheap and not have to worry about plunking down $55 to $350 for some of the bigger guaranteed MTT’s that will be played throughout the months of October and the first week of November.
GSPO Notable Tournaments and More…
In all, the Golden Spade Poker Open will feature over 100 tournaments in all. Compared to the [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/just-ten-days-ignition-pokers-golden-spade-poker-open/”]2016 GSPO[/geolink], this year’s series will have at least $500,000 more in guarantees, bringing the total number to at least $3 million in total prizes that will be up for grabs. And much like last year’s event, the general consensus says that the guarantees being offered will be smashed.
More and more players have been flocking to sites like Bovada (who recently re-opened their poker room [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/bovada-poker-returns-us-new-bonus-offer/”]in August 2017[/geolink]), which has some of the best software and customer service reps in the business. Also, with Ignition Poker only accepting USA players, it is the sites like them and Bovada that will bring in a ton of action for American grinders looking for a place to play without facing any legal problems.
Poker sites on what most experts consider a “medium-sized network” like PaiWangLui almost always attract a fair amount of cash game and tournament players, much like like ACR does on the Winning Poker Network and BetOnline does on the Action Poker Network. The fact that the guarantees for the 2017 GSPO are up over half a million compared to the 2016 version show that this series has major popularity amongst players and they will be back in troves to earn their share of the prizes.
