Bovada Poker adds WSOP-themed Jackpot Sit & Go

Jackpot Sit & GoBovada Poker has added an extra buy-in level to its suite of Jackpot Sit & Go games with a unique prize structure in honor of the WSOP´s fiftieth anniversary.

It´s not difficult to see why Bovada Poker’s Jackpot Sit & Go games are incredibly popular. With buy-ins ranging from $2 to $60, players have the opportunity to win up to one thousand times their buy-in; and, if one of the top three prizes is randomly drawn before the start of the game, the players finishing second and third places also win a share of the prize pool.

Over the next six weeks, the Jackpot Sit & Go games are likely to be even more popular due to an extra buy-in level being added which gives players the opportunity to win up to two thousand times their buy-in. The games differ in their prize structure from regular Jackpot Sit & Go games inasmuch as some prize pool multipliers have been removed and new ones added.

A Lot of 50s to Mention

The extra level has been added in honor of the WSOP´s fiftieth anniversary there´s a lot of “50s” to mention. The games have a buy-in of $50, there is a unique prize pool multiplier of fifty times the buy-in (rather than the 15x multiplier) and the frequency of drawing a 120x multiplier has been increased to fifty times per 100,000 games rather than the usual nine times per 100,000 games.

On the down side, the usual 5x prize multiplier has been reduced to a 4x prize multiplier, and the 240x prize multiplier has been removed. This means there are only two levels at which second and third placed players will win prizes – although the frequency with which players are likely to be playing in one of the top two prize levels has increased substantially.

Six Weeks Left for Monster Stack Tournaments

The end of the WSOP-themed Jackpot Sit & Go games coincides with the end of the excellent Monster Stack tournaments that have been running since early April. These three-times-daily tournaments have also been incredibly popular due to the big starting stacks giving players more maneuverability before the blinds start catching up with them. Consequently there have been some massive prize pools.

We don´t know yet what the Monster Stack tournaments will be replaced with – if anything at all. The likelihood is that Bovada Poker´s existing tournaments schedule (which is guaranteed for more than $1.5 million per week) will keep the same format throughout the summer ahead of some changes in early fall. Fortunately, that means the weekly $100K “Go Big” tournament will remain the same along with its comprehensive satellite schedule. Naturally, if there are any special summer promotions at Bovada Poker, the place to find out about them first is at USAFriendlyPokerSites.com.
