Another Busy Week Ahead at Intertops Poker

Intertops PokerWhile it´s business as usual for most USA friendly poker sites, Intertops Poker is pulling out all the stops to add plenty of variety over the coming ten days.

For the majority of USA friendly poker sites, the weeks after Easter are often a “between promotions” time, where they are clearing the desks from the last promotion and getting ready for the next one. But not at Intertops Poker, where the site has three special events lined up over the next ten days to entertain players and possibly add a little extra to their bankrolls.

Two of the events are not super-valuable inasmuch as it won´t change your life if you win them. However, the thought that goes into always having something going on is not easy; and having three special events in close proximity so soon after Easter typifies the efforts made by the site to always provide players with an entertaining online poker experience.

Bounty Run Series #4

The fun and games kicks off this coming Saturday at 3:05pm (all times ET) with the latest instalment of the Bounty Run Series – a year-long series of knockout tournaments with two “special” Bounty Run tournaments scheduled in June and December. This month´s event is a “regular” knockout tournament with an $11.00 buy-in, a $600 guaranteed prize pool, and a $2.00 bounty on each player´s head.

If you would like to get into the tournament at a discount, there is a standard satellite tournament tonight at 5:10pm with a $2.20 buy-in (i.e. there´s no bounty prizes); and remember, if you win this Saturday´s tournament – or are the first player to be knocked out from it – you will win a free seat worth $17.60 in June´s Bounty Run Summer Special tournament.

May Day Tournament

If there´s a holiday, Intertops Poker celebrates it, so it is no surprise to see a special tournament with a $600 guaranteed prize pool in the schedule for next Wednesday 1st May. The tournament gets underway at 2:05pm and has a buy-in of $9.90. However, prior to the tournament there will be three $1.10 buy-in satellites at 6:05am, 8:05am, and 10:00am, each guaranteeing one seat in the target event.

The scheduling of the tournament – and particularly the times of the satellites – implies this is an event targeted at European players. One of the benefits of playing at Intertops Poker is that the site accepts players from many countries across the world – ensuring there is traffic at the tables most times of the day or night; or, in the case of the May Day tournament, during the early hours of the morning.

EPC Velden Satellite

Astute visitors to USAfriendlyPokerSites.com may have noticed my “Latest Live Event Qualifiers” post got a nudge towards the top of the Home Page yesterday. This is because Intertops Poker has announced it is once again sending players to the European Poker Championships in Velden, Austria, and giving them a chance to play for their share of an estimated $750,000 prize pool.

The EPC Velden satellite takes place on Saturday 4th May and Intertops Poker has started running daily two-step sub-satellites feeding into the target event starting at a buy-in of $3.30. Unlike the May Day tournament, the satellite final and the sub-satellites feeding into it are timed to be more convenient for players in the U.S. So, take advantage of this opportunity and show those Europeans how it is done!

Always Plenty Going on at Intertops Poker

If you like a little variety in your online action, Intertops Poker is the place to play. In addition to the frequently changing tournament schedule, Intertops Poker has a very active cash game community – mostly due to persevering with the “dealt rake” method of points distribution that makes its rewards program so good. If you´re not already playing at the site, and would like to know more about the site´s rewards program and other new player benefits, head on over to my Intertops Poker review.
