Qualify Today for May Day Event at Intertops Poker

May Day at IntertopsPlayers who qualify today or tomorrow for Intertops Poker´s May Day Event on Monday will likely have an easier qualification passage than over the weekend.

To celebrate the May Day Holiday next Monday (1st May), Intertops Poker is hosting a special $2,000 guaranteed NL Texas Hold´em Poker tournament. The May Day event gets underway at 6:30pm (EDT) and has a buy-in of just $22.00 – representing a fantastic buy-in to prize money ratio for the site.

Intertops Poker is supporting the May Day event with four satellite qualifiers each day and a “Last Chance” short-stacked turbo satellite on Monday. However, rather than wait until the last minute to qualify for the May Day tournament, players can take advantage of an easier qualification passage today and tomorrow while traffic on the site is lighter.

The May Day Event at Intertops Poker

As well as hosting some great qualifying opportunities, Intertops Poker has designed the May Day event to be as attractive as possible to players. The tournament has 3½ hours late registration up to 10:00pm EDT, during which time eliminated players can re-enter up to 100 times and receive a new starting stack of 10,000 chips.

Blinds start at 25/50 and rise steeply every 15 minutes. By the end of late registration, the blinds will be 2,000/4,000 (ante 400) – meaning that players who leave it until the last minute to enter (or re-enter) will only have 2½ Big Blinds to play with. As the site is anticipating 100 entries for the event (to cover the guarantee), the top 12 players will get paid, with the winner adding around $550.00 to their bankroll.

A Selection of Qualifiers to Choose From

Players familiar with the “usual” qualifying satellites for feature events at Intertops Poker might be a little surprised when they see the selection of qualifiers for the May Day tournament. Not only is there a turbo, a hyper-turbo, and a re-buy and add-on (R&A) NL Texas Hold´em qualifier each day, but also a qualifier for Omaha players. The selection of qualifiers looks like this (all times EDT):

  • 3:00am – NL Hold´em R&A. $3.30 buy-in. One seat guaranteed.
  • 9:00am – NL Hold´em Hyper-Turbo. $2.20 buy-in. One seat guaranteed.
  • 3:00pm – PL Omaha R&A. $2.20 buy-in. One seat guaranteed.
  • 9:00pm – NL Hold´em Turbo. $6.60 buy-in. Two seats guaranteed.

The qualifying schedule means that at least thirty players will satellite into the May Day event at Intertops Poker with the potential for some substantial value already tied up. There is more potential value on offer in the “Last Chance” turbo qualifier on Monday at 3:00pm. This satellite has a buy-in of just $1.10 with the opportunity for players to supplement their 500 chip starting stack with a re-buy and an add-on. The “Last Chance” qualifier guarantees a minimum of one seat to the May Day event.

More Potential Value at Intertops Poker

Players unfamiliar with the set up at Intertops Poker are missing out on more potential value. The site has an excellent VIP rewards program in which players can earn unlimited no deposit poker bonuses, a rake race paying out $4,000 to the players who collect the most Frequent Player Points each week, and a generous first deposit bonus that is easy to clear over the ninety days allowed.
