High Five Series Returns to WPN June 8 to June 12

High Five at WPNThe popular High Five Series returns to the Winning Poker Network between June 8 and June 12 with $940,000 in guaranteed prize pools over twenty-five events.

In November 2013, the Winning Poker Network announced an ambitious series of twenty-five tournaments crushed together within five days. The combined series guarantee for the twenty-five tournaments was $350,000 including $150,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Fast forward to the sixth High Five Series announced for June 8 to June 12, and the guaranteed prize pools illustrate just how much sites such as [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/americas-cardroom/”]Americas Cardroom[/geolink], [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/black-chip-poker/”]Black Chip Poker[/geolink], [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/true-poker/”]True Poker[/geolink] and [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/ya-poker/”]Ya Poker[/geolink] have grown in 2½ years. Now, the five days of action are guaranteed to pay out a minimum of $940,000, with the Main Event guaranteed for $420,000 – more than the entire series was worth back in November 2013.

Usual Variety of Buy-Ins and Tournament Formats

The growth in the value of the tournament series has been achieved without substantially increasing the buy-ins to the events or sacrificing the variety of tournament formats. Eight of the twenty-five events in the High Five Series have buy-ins of $10.00 or less, yet have combined guarantees of $49,000.

The tournament formats comprise of 4-Max, 6-Max and full ring events at regular, turbo and hyper-turbo speeds, with freezeouts, re-buys and knockout events included in the schedule. Such is the great mix of tournament formats that there is only room for two Omaha tournaments – a $15,000 guaranteed PLO event on June 9 and a $15,000 guaranteed NL Omaha Hi/Lo knockout event on June 11.

$420,000 Guaranteed Main Event on Sunday June 12

The highlight of the Series is the High Five Main Event on Sunday June 12 at 4:00pm (ET). The tournament has a buy-in of $420 + $35 and is guaranteed for $420,000 – although recent history would suggest that the guarantee will be exceeded well before the extended late registration period comes to a close.

Over the next few days, the Winning Poker Network will launch a satellite schedule for the event in order to allow players to qualify for just “pennies on the dollar”. Alternatively, once the tournament has opened for registration, players have the option of trying their luck on the “Spin to GET IN” slot game – a game that saw Kevin “CrazyRiver1” Johnson win a seat in last month´s $540 buy-in Million Dollar Sunday event [geolink href=”https://www.usafriendlypokersites.com/player-qualifies-acr-million-dollar-sunday-0-12/”]for just $0.12[/geolink].

You Don´t Have to Wait for Big Tournaments at WPN

If you are itching to get involved in big tournaments, but cannot wait until June 8 for the start of the High Five Series, there are plenty of valuable tournaments scheduled throughout the week at the Winning Poker Network. The Network recently revamped its entire weekday tournament schedule to include a $50,000 guaranteed event on Wednesday evenings and a “Saturday 6-Pack” with $33,000 guaranteed over six tournaments – none of which have a buy-in higher than $30.00.

Naturally, Sunday is the best day to be playing at sites on the Winning Poker Network. The Network hosts the most valuable online poker tournament open to players in the US – the $115,000 guaranteed Sunday Special; and, among a selection of other valuable events, a $35,000 guaranteed PLO Sunday Special for fans of Pot Limit Omaha.

Qualify for the Biggest Live Poker Event in the World

The Winning Poker Network is also running promotions in which players can win packages to the WSOP Main Event in July. Each Sunday, the Network hosts TWO tournaments with $55.00 buy-ins that guarantee a minimum of three $12,500 packages to the World Series of Poker, plus the “World Series of Jackpots” continues to award jackpot prizes to players at an incredible pace.
